Creating 360° Experiences: Beyond the Stage and Into the Story

At No Ceilings, the show doesn’t start when the music begins and it doesn’t end with a curtain call. Every experience we design is a journey, and that journey begins the moment a guest arrives.

At EDC, that philosophy came to life through a three-stage model designed to fully transport festival goers beyond the chaos of the grounds and into the world of Salvage City Supper Club.

A World Within a World

Set inside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, space came with its own set of challenges. With stages packed closely together, sound bleeding from every direction, and desert winds kicking up around us, the stage design had to withstand the elements. Instead of resisting these constraints, we leaned into them.

The client built an enclosed world using shipping containers, creating a cocoon that instantly separated guests from the noise and spectacle of the festival. The moment guests stepped inside, they were transported to a place entirely differen from the rest of the festival..

From the first note to the final bite, the environment was designed to be immersive. Above, around, and beside you, the show unfolded in layers.

The Three Stages of Experience

Stage One: Welcome & Wonder

Festival goers had been walking, dancing, and exploring. First, we welcomed them into the space, offering a cocktail, a shift in energy, and live performances that surrounded them from all corners. The tone here was designed to be both soothing and engaging. A chance to decompress and reset.

Stage Two: Connection & Community

As guests settled in, the dining room was revealed, timed to the music, for a truly cinematic effect. Seating was communal, not private. You weren’t tucked away at a table for two. You were placed among new faces, fostering interaction and spontaneous conversation.

Stage Three: Elevation & Release

For the dessert, the experience took on a new pace. The energy built. Guests were guided upstairs to a rooftop space that overlooked the entire festival. For many, it was their only elevated view of the grounds. This moment, after an hour of being secluded in our world, was designed to be expansive, empowering, and unforgettable.

What “360°” Really Means

To us, “360°” isn’t just about spatial design. It’s about mapping the full customer journey. From arrival to exit, we choreograph each moment with intention:

  • Music that sets the emotional tone.
  • Lighting that guides the mood and movement.
  • Cocktails and cuisine that connect back to the story.
  • Entertainers who aren’t just performers, but narrative guides trained to move the audience from one world to the next.

Even the transitions are scripted, right down to the language performers use to invite guests to the next chapter. Every choice is part of the story.

The Power of the Unexpected

Ultimately, what we aim to create isn’t just a night out. It’s creating core memories for our guests. A moment someone can’t wait to tell their friends about. Whether it’s a server offering a dish tableside or a vocalist leading you into the kitchen mid-show, we build experiences that surprise, delight, and linger long after the music ends.

Because the best part of a No Ceilings show isn’t just what you saw. It’s what you didn’t expect.
